MADL is the property and development arm of Manchester Airports Group and is responsible for:
- Capital and Master planning
- Strategic land acquisition and disposal
- Property development activity
- Estate and facility management
- Capital and revenue procurement
- Design and delivery of capital projects
The MADL remit extends across all four airports within the Group comprising Manchester Airport, East Midlands Airport, Bournemouth Airport and Humberside Airport.
Following its formation five years ago MADL has firmly established activity around three core areas - Strategy (involving strategic real estate planning and land aquisition, land disposal and land use); Development (encompasses identifying and delivering preferred development opportunities and infrastructure); Service Delivery (maximising property revenue, delivering and project managing major capital projects). Maximising property opportunities not only focuses on unlocking development activity but also working closely with regional regeneration bodies such as SWERDA and Wythenshawe Strategic Regeneration Framework.
