King Sturge has been appointed to market offices, industrial units and land jointly with Goadsby at Aviation Park  at Bournemouth Airport by Manchester Airport Developments (MADL) who own and manage the Aviation Park business park.

More than 2000 people work at Aviation Park which covers 200 acres of land with 1.2million ft² of business space.

Regarded as Dorset’s premiere location for technology, industry and freight, the 140 different occupiers include FR Aviation, Aim Group, Honeywell and Target Express.  Aviation Park boasts a 96% occupancy rate which MADL attributes to the large stock of diverse space, flexible lease terms, proximity to conurbations of Bournemouth and Poole, pleasant working environment and good links to the national road network.

John Atkins, Strategy and Development Director for MADL said ‘We look forward to working with both King Sturge and Goadsby in maintaining the position of Aviation Park as the premier business space opportunity in the region.’

King Sturge has extensive experience with other airports and operators around the country and the firm’s national expertise will compliment the skills of joint local agent, Goadsby, according to King Sturge.  “Our national research department produces an annual report into all the European airports and their related property activities, so we have a huge amount of in depth knowledge to draw upon.  We are looking forward to building on the success that MADL has already achieved at Bournemouth.  Aviation Park is a very attractive and desirable business location.”
